After earning my MFA in the early 90s I pursued the gallery show circuit for several years. In 1995 I got the all things internet bug and haven't looked back since. My experience from over a decade of hand coding HTML to incorporating CSS and javascript in a move to XHTML; and using Flash as a complementary accessory in my toolkit, makes me uniquely qualified to provide design and development services for the visual arts. Because intuitively understanding good user friendly design without losing sight of purpose, is the only way to see and be seen in a competitive visual online landscape.

There are as many XHTML image gallery possibilites as there are javascript libraries to power them. Whether you fancy jQuery's Thickbox, or a mootools Smooth Gallery or Prototype's Lightbox, viewing image portfolios online has never been easier. Editing and updating the images shown can often be done by the artist as the images and their title and media information is controlled by text files easily edited in any text editor.
